On Monday, a new boy came to Samโ€™s class. His name was Omar, and he was from another city. He sat alone and did not talk.

At lunch, Sam saw Omar at an empty table. Omar looked at his food and said nothing.

Sam took his tray and sat next to him. โ€œHi, I am Sam. Do you like robots?โ€

Omar looked up. โ€œYes! I have a robot at home. It can walk and turn.โ€

โ€œCool!โ€ Sam said. โ€œI am building a robot from a kit. But the arms do not work.โ€

โ€œI can help,โ€ Omar said. โ€œRobots are my favorite thing.โ€

After school, Omar came to Samโ€™s house. They worked on the robot together. At five oโ€™clock, the robot walked across the table and waved its arms. The boys gave each other a high five.

On Tuesday, Omar did not sit alone. He sat with Sam and his friends, and they talked about robots all lunch long.
