English Reading Practice (B1) — Real Topics
English reading practice for intermediate (B1) learners: real topics you actually want to read about, in clear, natural American English. Every word is highlighted as it is read, and the pictures change with the story.
Food, history, games, science, music — real facts in B1 English. When the topic is interesting, you keep reading, and that is how your reading gets faster.
Every lesson has the same five parts, so you always know what comes next:
- 1. The article (about 450 words), read once at a natural pace. Key words and notes are explained in a box under the text while you read.
- 2. Five comprehension questions. The answer is always shown in the article.
- 3. A review of eight key words, each with a picture and its sentence from the article.
- 4. Word practice: match each meaning to its word.
- 5. Your turn: one question to answer in the comments.
