Doctor: Hello, what brings you in today?

Patient: I've had a sore throat and a cough for three days.

Doctor: Do you have a fever or any chest pain?

Patient: I had a mild fever last night, but no chest pain.

Doctor: Let me check your temperature and listen to your breathing.

Patient: Okay.

Doctor: Your temperature is slightly high. Your lungs sound clear.

Patient: What should I do?

Doctor: Drink plenty of water, rest, and take a cough syrup as directed. You can buy one at any pharmacy.

Patient: Can I go to work tomorrow?

Doctor: If the fever goes down, yes. If it stays high, stay home.

Patient: Thank you, doctor.
